When I was a dancer, I constantly received corrections like "close your ribcage," "pull up in your abs," and "activate your core." But those corrections always seemed vague, and I felt stuck in a loop, never really understanding what was wrong with me.

It wasn’t until late in my college dance career that I finally realized having a strong core wasn’t just about the abdominals like I had been led to believe. Nor did it mean having the flattest stomach in the room. True core strength comes from understanding how to engage and align your entire body, from the pelvis to the spine, and this understanding completely transformed how I approached my posture and movement. That’s why I created this ballet posture and alignment course—to share those insights and help you prevent injuries by building real strength from the inside out.
